The Rain Bird GARDENKIT Drip Irrigation Raised Bed Garden Watering Kit is an easy-to-install solution that provides everything needed to water up to a 4' x 8' raised bed garden season after season. Designed for versatility, this professional-grade kit can be easily configured to fit all types of single or multiple garden beds in a variety of sizes.

Drip irrigation efficiently waters at low volume near the root, promoting healthier plants, higher yields, and up to 80% water savings. The pressure-compensating technology ensures that all plants receive equal watering regardless of their position along the tubing run. Each built-in emitter provides a 0.8 gallon-per-hour flow rate, without the risk of clogging and requiring zero maintenance.

The kit includes high-quality components engineered with resins to last season after season. It features a 3/4" faucet to 1/4" tubing adaptor, a 25 psi pressure regulator with a 150 mesh filter washer, a 35' roll of 1/4" emitter tubing with 70 emitters spaced every 6", a 25' roll of 1/4" distribution tubing, and various fittings and accessories to facilitate a simple and efficient setup.

The detailed user manual with illustrated instructions and system layout options makes the installation process easy. To set up the system, simply connect to the water source via the 3/4" hose adapter and pressure regulator, then run the black distribution tubing to the planting area where the brown emitter tubing will distribute water to the plants. Use the included stakes to secure the tubing in place, and take advantage of the various fittings to make connections and terminate the tubing runs. The tubing can be buried or left on top of the soil.

For added convenience, the system can be automated by incorporating a Rain Bird 1ZEHTMR Hose-End Timer (sold separately). However, it is important to note that the kit should not be extended by adding more 1/4" tubing, as this will significantly reduce the water flow. If more distance is required, it is recommended to purchase additional kits or consider branching from a Y-splitter or connecting to another faucet/garden hose.
