The industry's most flexible irrigation controller solution that supports flow monitoring, LNK WiFi, and up to 22 stations is now available. This controller offers a range of features to enhance water monitoring and protection against irrigation system issues.

One of the key features is the WiFi Connectivity. By simply plugging in a Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module (sold separately), users can access, operate, and monitor their irrigation system from anywhere. The controller utilizes internet-based weather information to make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule, potentially saving up to 30% in water usage.

The Flow Monitoring capability is another noteworthy feature. The controller is compatible with multiple sizes and makes of wired flow sensors, allowing for effective monitoring and notifications to save water and protect against property damage. Users can also bypass the rain sensor for specific stations, such as those under an eave or deck or in a greenhouse, to ensure consistent watering.

The Seasonal Adjust by Program function allows users to save water by changing the seasonal adjust from 5% to 200% for corrected run times without altering the scheduled times. This feature provides flexibility in adapting to changing weather conditions.

The One-Touch Watering function is a convenient option, where users can press and hold the right arrow button while the dial is in the AUTO position to start manually watering the current program.

The Contractor Default feature enables users to save a default program, and if the original watering schedule is overwritten in error, it can be easily restored in just two steps. This ensures that the desired watering schedule can be quickly reinstated.

In terms of operating specifications, the ESP-ME3 controller offers station timing from 1 minute to 6 hours and a Seasonal Adjust range of 5% to 200%. The maximum operating temperature is 149°F (65°C). With 4 to 22 stations, the controller caters to the needs of both residential and light commercial sites. Users can add station modules when expanding the irrigation system without the need to remove or power down the controller.

To upgrade the ESP-ME3 to a SMART controller, users can add the LNK WiFi module and a WR2 rain sensor. The LNK module enhances programming and monitoring capabilities through the improved Rain Bird app.

The configurable design of the ESP-ME3 allows for up to 22 stations, with the option to add 3 or 6 station modules to accommodate different job sizes or future irrigation needs. The controller comes equipped with a power plug and an outdoor cabinet, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor installation.

Additionally, the ESP-ME3 provides alerts for system issues, including electrical, programming, or high flow (when using a flow sensor), through a red LED and scrolling messages. These alerts can be coupled with mobile device notifications when used with the LNK WiFi Module and the Rain Bird app.

The large text and symbols on the color-coded dial positions, along with the clear 3" back-lit screen, ensure easy understanding and readability, even in dark environments such as garages or sheds.
